Charlie has a track record of supporting public sector bodies in developing evidence-based economic strategies and regeneration plans. He has delivered socio-economic analysis for a range of local authorities, covering strategic planning, sectoral analysis, and investment prioritisation.
He contributed to the development of a new Economic Strategy for Peterborough City Council, identifying feasible economic interventions tailored to local conditions. His work focused on aligning recommendations with the city’s long-term goals while considering short-term priorities and deliverability.
Charlie was also involved in preparing the socio-economic evidence base for the Bedford Town Centre Growth Strategy for Bedford Borough Council. This included demographic and sectoral analysis, comparator benchmarking, and site deliverability assessments across the town centre. The findings informed regeneration priorities, and supported the Council’s positioning within the Ox-Cam Growth Corridor.
Charlie previously supported the Whitechapel Landowners Forum by analysing the economic potential of high-growth sectors within the local life sciences cluster. He also contributed to the socio-economic case for the redevelopment of Liverpool Street Station, evaluating the benefits of new commercial space and operational improvements.
Charlie’s work has supported the development of locally informed, practical strategies that aim to address economic challenges and guide regeneration efforts.
