Nick has a strong focus on supporting Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects (NSIPs), particularly in the renewable energy sector. He is currently involved in the Development Consent Order (DCO) application process for two major solar farms, Maen Hir Solar Farm and The Droves, where he leads the socio-economic and health assessments. As part of these projects, he is also shaping the Employment and Skills Strategies aimed at leaving a lasting legacy for local communities.

Nick has delivered socio-economic support and analysis for major infrastructure schemes across the UK, producing a range of reports including Economic Statements, Health and Equality Impact Assessments, and Needs Assessments. His work spans a variety of development types such as purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA), co-living, residential, office, and hotel schemes. Notable projects include 38–70 Baker Street, 99 City Road, and 1 Spitalfields, where his assessments have supported planning submissions by assessing the potential impacts of the development.

Beyond planning support, Nick has recently developed a bespoke model to help a major developer assess the socio-economic value of their portfolio. The model enables a clearer understanding of how different assets contribute to the local economies, providing a practical tool for understanding the economic impact of the portfolio.

Nick’s work also includes evaluating the social impact of facilities and organisations. He has recently assessed the socio-economic benefits of Active Luton and LandAid House, including analyses of social return on investment. In parallel, he has supported the development of inclusive design initiatives in collaboration with The Crown Estate and Grosvenor, focusing on how places can better respond to the needs of a diverse range of users.
