Mikaela joined Volterra as a Senior Consultant after relocating to London from New Zealand. Prior to joining Volterra, Mikaela worked with both public and private sector clients across a diverse range of industries, including transport, infrastructure, health, and energy. Her experience includes developing business cases, undertaking economic impact analyses and national impact studies, supporting regulatory and fast-track approval processes, and contributing to strategy development for organisations across both sectors.

Mikaela specialises in economic analysis, using tools such as economic modelling and data analytics to solve complex problems and communicate evidence-based insights in a clear and engaging way. She is particularly interested in understanding how communities are affected by, and respond to, investments, major projects, and shifts in economic activity. Mikaela's strengths lies in translating complex findings into compelling and accessible narratives that support informed decision-making and foster a shared understanding among diverse stakeholders.
