We recently returned from a team away trip to Suffolk, combining site visits, strategy sessions, team bonding, and plenty of coastal walking.
Thursday started with a warm-up walk to ease us into the trip. On Friday, we visited the Sizewell C site and visitor centre, then set off on a coastal hike looping from Sizewell down to Aldeburgh, of course stopping for fish and chips along the way.
It was a brilliant chance to get away from our desks, chat through upcoming projects and new opportunities, and connect with the newest additions to our team. We even played a game of real-life Cluedo, where plotting how best to eliminate one another from the game turned out to be surprisingly good team bonding!
While some of the group headed back on Saturday morning, a few rounded off the trip by taking on the Great Yarmouth parkrun, the UK’s hardest!
A great few days of fresh air, planning, and catching up outside the office.
