We prepared a Written Representation for the proposed Lower Thames Crossing (LTC), a major piece of national transport infrastructure. Our analysis assessed the potential economic risks associated with traffic redistribution and its impact on operations at London Gateway — one of the UK’s most strategically important ports. By quantifying the potential disruption and associated economic harm, we helped strengthen London Gateway’s case during the DCO examination process, ensuring that the project’s implications for freight resilience and port competitiveness were fully understood by decision-makers.
