Grace is eager to contribute to building strong socio-economic cases and assessing the impacts of developments and interventions that benefit the community. Originally from Western Australia, she has diverse experience, having worked in wealth management, at a software start-up, and in the R&D, government funding, and grants space.

In her previous role, she developed funding applications for a variety of projects and large-scale developments. These included mixed-use urban development schemes, mining, and a range of renewable energy projects, such as solar and large-scale hydrogen production and blending. Her experience has strengthened her ability to produce high-quality, evidence-based reports to support funding applications for private clients across numerous industries, as well as for public sector local authorities.

Since joining Volterra, Grace has supported the team with the socio-economic analysis of a variety of schemes, including residential, office, hotel, and cultural developments. She recently conducted an assessment of the economic impacts of the redevelopment of a major cultural and leisure destination in London. This project incorporated a variety of uses, including offices, accommodation, hospitality, exhibition, and performance spaces. Grace derived estimates such as employment, visitor numbers, expenditure, and GVA, as well as broader impacts on the tourism, cultural, and creative industries.
