We assessed the economic impacts of the proposed redevelopment of Olympia. The landmark £1.3 billion redevelopment of this historic exhibition venue includes a variety of uses including office, performance venues, exhibitions, a conference centre, food and beverage, hotels and a school. 

We originally produced a number of assessments for the planning application. We also recently completed a second report which updates our analysis. As well as quantifying traditional economic impacts, our work includes extensive data-led research and goes beyond standard measures to demonstrate the full benefits of the redevelopment. This includes demonstrating Olympia’s contribution to tourism, the exhibition industry and the cultural and creative industries, and setting out the importance of providing mid sized venues for performers.

Our report has been utilised to inform the communications and media leading up to the new destination opening its doors and commencing full operation.
