A warm welcome to Andrew and Roberto

Volterra is delighted to announce the arrival of two new economic consultants, Andrew Cuttle and Roberto Vedova.

Andrew has previous experience in cost-benefit analysis and developing business cases for large government-funded rail projects. He also has experience as an economist at the UK’s rail regulating body, reviewing operator access charges as part of Network Rail’s Period Review (PR23) and Crossrail’s (central section) final access charge agreement. At Volterra, Andrew is currently working on making the economic case for a commercial development in London to support the growth of the life sciences sector, bringing to light the need for the development and the associated socio-economic benefits.

Roberto has prior experience in urban planning and economic consulting, working with several public and private sector clients. Roberto has recently supported local authorities in England and Wales with the development of economic evidence bases and economic strategies. He is experienced in undertaking quantitative and qualitative research to support reports on a range of themes including employment and skills, green jobs, and EDI assessments. Roberto is currently working on a proposed office-led redevelopment near Liverpool Street, making the economic case for retrofitting the existing building to deliver workspace that would meet the needs of future businesses.

We hosted a welcome drinks event for our new team members to get to know them better. This event was a great opportunity for the whole team to spend time together out of the office and wind down during a busy period for the firm.

We are thrilled to have them onboard, and we look forward to working together.
