His work thus far has revolved around transport investment projects. These include a research-based project: the Step Change Model, which is trying to uncover the impact that improvements to accessibility have on a range of key variables. He has also worked on evaluating the economic benefits of a prosposed HS2 station at Toton, in the East Midlands. Relevantly, he is undertaking a socio-economic impact assessment of an Infrastructure Maintenance Depot at Staveley, in Derbyshire.
Steven is a third-year placement student from the University of Bath and is reading Economics.
